OUR STORY

When our uncle, John Garofalo and father, Mike Garofalo started the Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company in 1974, they had no idea their small restaurant would become a Harvey Cedars landmark and a summer tradition for so many.

My brother, Mike and I feel very fortunate to have been raised on Long Beach Island and to have grown up inside the restaurant. As the next generation of the Harvey Cedars Shellfish Company, our goal is to continue serving fresh, local seafood and to continue being a part of your families’ summer memories on LBI.
